CORRECTION: For this video, I discussed some early inferences I made before 2018 as assumptions resulting from early and superficial/preliminary examinations in certain areas. For example, on Google, I searched for images of the original (old) pages of unread sections of the "Codex Gigas" or parts whose readings were disputed. Based on the images I found, I speculated that there might be matches with Turkish in some words and that the word structure might be agglutinative, suggesting that this topic needed more research and that these might contain Turkish content as a possibility.
In later years (towards the end of 2023 and the beginning of 2024), I found time to focus on the Codex Gigas again. I realized that some of the pages I encountered online during my pre-2018 research were not actually from the Codex Gigas. Similarly, I understood that some of the printed pages I had obtained, trusting the information that they belonged to the Soyga Manuscript, were actually from a manuscript called the Rohonc Codex. In other words, the writings I hypothesized could be Turkish were not from the Soyga Manuscript but rather from the Rohonc Codex. I may later conduct a more detailed examination of the Soyga Manuscript's content. This experience taught me once again not to trust online sources or the information within them without thorough research.
In any case, since these videos were created to publicize the detailed work we conducted on the Voynich Manuscript (VM), let us also correct our incorrect/early inferences in this way. Additionally, in the first video, starting from the 26th minute, I carelessly referred to the 14th century instead of saying that Leonardo was born in the mid-15th century. The first person to propose that the galaxy-like (f68v) page represented Andromeda Galaxy, which Bacon allegedly saw through a telescope, was Newbold. René Zandbergen found this inference unrealistic. Many similar errors stemmed from my lack of long-term focus on information regarding the history of VM investigations and from trusting some preliminary information I quickly found online without verifying it. I wrote/corrected these mistakes in my book and continue to repeat the necessary correction statements whenever possible in my speech on different platforms & in written comments.
In any case, despite its errors, the main purpose of these initial videos was to create awareness about the topic in Turkey and foster an environment for VM-related discussions and investigations. In our VM studies, rather than dedicating time to reviewing the research conducted before us, we focused on our alphabet transcriptions and readings. Therefore, while we have made some mistakes with the information we provided without proper examination, we have complete confidence in the clarity and robustness of the results we obtained in the details we examined thoroughly (those that are the subjects of our published articles).
