OY (AY) / Folio 67r / The modern Turkish dialect today uses the word “OY” as “AY”. In Turkish the word “AY” has dual meaning, (1) “month”, (2) “moon”. Despite the fact that modern Anatolian Turkish employs the word “AY”, the Uzbek Turkic group still uses the word “OY” just as the author would have 600 years ago. In addition to this, the definition has also remained unchanged. Türkiye Türkçesi ile 'AY' yazılan bu sözcük Özbek-Türkçesi ile 'OY' olarak yazılmaktadır. Bu da yaklaşık 600 yıl önce yazarın kullandığı şekli ile tamamen aynıdır. Sözcüğün İngilizce karşılığı ise 'Month' and 'Moon' demektir.
